Send a certified letter online, one letter at a time

The short answer
A certified letter is a First-Class letter sent with USPS Certified Mail, so USPS records the mailing date and tracks the piece to delivery. Upload the letter or paste the text, add both addresses, and pay $12.99 for one page. We print it and hand it to USPS the next business day.
How it works
- Have the letter ready. A PDF or the text is enough. One page is included at $12.99; each extra page is $0.25.
- Add both addresses. The recipient address is checked against USPS data before payment, so a typo is caught before anything prints.
- Pay for the send. Pay by card or Apple Pay. The charge is captured after screening and after the print facility accepts the letter.
- Track it to delivery. We email the USPS tracking number and each scan. Delivery usually follows 3 to 5 business days after the handoff.
What it costs
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Certified Mail letter, one page | $12.99 |
| Certified Mail with electronic Return Receipt | $14.99 |
| Each extra page | $0.25 |
Who it is for
- You have one letter that needs a USPS mailing record, such as a notice, a demand or a response with a deadline.
- You have no printer, no stamps and no time for the post office.
- You want the letter to leave tomorrow rather than on your next trip out.
When it is not the right tool
- You want to hand the envelope to a clerk yourself or add a USPS service at the counter.
- You are mailing a package rather than a document. Letters here are limited to 12 pages.
- You need the letter delivered the same day.

Questions before you send
If something goes wrong, do I pay?
If we cannot mail the letter, the hold on your card is released and you are not charged. If a letter fails after your card is charged, you are refunded automatically and in full.
What do I need to send a certified letter online?
The letter as a PDF or text, the recipient address and a card or Apple Pay. No account, printer, envelope or stamp is needed.
Can I send a signed document?
Yes. Upload a scan or PDF of the page that carries the signature. We print the file you provide and do not add a signature of our own.
How long does a certified letter take?
Certified Mail travels with First-Class service. We hand it to USPS the next business day, and delivery is typically 3 to 5 business days after that. The tracking number shows each scan.
Is this the same USPS service as the post office counter?
USPS carries the letter and produces the mailing record either way. What changes is who prints the page, pays the postage and takes the envelope to USPS. Rules vary by state.
